US IRS publishes updated FATCA IDES user guide, puts data preparation examples on Github

The US IRS on April 20 announced it has updated the FATCA International Data Exchange Service (IDES) user guide to include enhancements for reporting and other instructions.

Also, web pages on IDES alert codes, IDES resources, and the global IT forum a have recently been updated.

The IRS further announced that FATCA IDES data preparation examples are now available on GitHub.
